Foundation & Basement
The basement floor and foundations are poured concrete. The basement can be fully finished but currently is 70% finished. A full bathroom in the basement has been 100% finished. The basement has one ground level door opening out onto the riverfront yard.

Three Bedrooms
The master bedroom has a day room with a window overlooking the river. It can be used as a quiet place to read, to watch the river, or to just take a nap. The roomy loft bedroom looks down into the great room. The guest bedroom is on the first floor just off the great room. All bedrooms have solid custom wood doors and exposed hand-hewn ceiling beams.

6. Loft bedroom

While currently used as a bedroom, the loft could also be used as a family room or small office. Stairs lead up to the loft from near the kitchen. |
Wood Treatments
All wood walls and ceilings have been hand-sanded and sealed with a silicone clear coat. All beams have also been hand-sanded and sealed with a silicone clear coat. Considerable time and effort went into the sanding and sealing of all visible woods ensuring the finish was smooth and durable. |

Master bedroom

The ladder leads to a day room which has a nice view of the river. The door to the right of the ladder leads into the closet. The open door to the left of the ladder is the bathroom. |
Ceiling & Roof Insulation
The visible interior ceiling is made of 2" thick x 6" wide natural finish tongue and grove boards. Not visible are several additional layers of wood, foam insulation, and felt layering. The result is excellent ceiling insulation offering very good thermal properties. Architectural grade asphalt/fiberglass composite shingles seal the roof.
